Yasaki Oboe Reed

The Yazaki (colour dark brown) is a medium-weight oboe reed suitable for many players from the early stages up to highly accomplished musicians. The medium gouge and a standard U-scrape produces an oboe reed with a good balanced scrape combining warmth and responsiveness. The shape is very narrow creating excellent projection from a very centred or focussed tone, and enhanced pitch stability.

Overall these features combine to offer a medium-weight oboe reed with a warm and very centred or focused tone.
