The Langdon is a heavy-weight oboe reed recommended for experienced players. The thick gouge combines with a medium U-scrape to give an oboe reed with plenty or heart and substance for the accomplished embouchure to work with. The shape is narrow creating a good balance of pitch stability with slightly enhanced upper register and projection.
