The Conservatoire (colour dark red) is a medium-weight oboe reed suitable for many players from the early stages up to highly accomplished musicians. The medium gouge and a standard U-scrape produces an oboe reed with a good balanced scrape combining warmth and responsiveness. The shape is our medium width M3 shape, slightly modified to reduce the width flare at the tip. This shape has a medium-large internal volume creating warmth with good sonority.
Overall these features combine to offer a popular medium-weight oboe reed with a warm and medium-to-broad tone.

Delivery
We use Royal Mail First Class post. Combining our order processing time with time in the post it is normal to expect the reeds within roughly a week from ordering. It is best to plan ahead and order well before you have completely run out of reeds!
